Minutes of the Board Meeting

1960 PC Users Meeting

Held at Denny’s Diner 7730 Louetta

(These minutes should be considered a draft until approved by the board of directors at the next meeting.}

The October Board of Directors meeting of the 1960 PC Users Group was called to order by President Bill Wright at 6:45 with the following members and guests present: Bill Franklin. Jean Franklin. Dr. Ewrin Winkel, Marj Krisman, Bob Argo, James Hug, Gary Toll, Haskell Boring, Jodena Boring, Jean Olson, Bea Ann Kelly, Jim Kelly and Gene Jackson.

Copies of the minutes were distributed, a typing error was corrected and they were adopted by a motion made by Bill Franklin and seconded by Gary Toll.

TREASURER

The treasurer presented his financial report and after some discussion, the report was adopted by a motion made by Gary Toll and seconded by James Hug.

SPECIAL INTEREST GROUPS

Bill Franklin presented the attendance records for the Special Interest Groups. He also reported on the success of the digital photographic workshop conducted by Kathy Adams Clark. He also said that she will do another one for $100 and the group should look at the schedule to see if we can afford her. Marj will assist Sam Sanderson on November 13 until he arrives for the meeting.

COMMUNICATIONS

Marj Krisman made a motion to invite the new board members to the December board meeting which will be moved to December 17 because of the holidays. The motion was seconded by Bea Ann Kelly and adopted. Bob Argo moved that door prizes be purchased for the General meeting. The motions was seconded by Gary Toll and adopted by voice vote. There being no unfinished business or new business which had not been dealt with, the meeting adjourned with a motion made by Jean Olson and seconded by Bob Argo.
