The meeting of the board of Directors of the 1960 PC Users Group was called to order by Bill Wright at 6:45 at Denny’s Diner on October 25, 2004.  In attendance were Bill Wright, Bill Franklin, Bob Argo, James Hug, Joan Cain, Marge Krisman, Betty Hasketh, and Gene Jackson.

The minutes of the previous meeting were read, corrected and approved.

It was reported that the new viewer had been purchased and is now use.   A storage case for the new viewer was given to the organization by David Dustin.  There is a $200.00 rebate on the purchase of the viewer, which has been applied for.  James Hug made a motion that the old viewer be sold on EBay,  The motion was seconded by Bob Argo.  Discussion concerning the motion centered on the purchase date of the old viewer, the need for a list of specifications  and a picture, and the availability of an EBay account among the membership.

The president reported that there was no speaker as yet for the November general meeting.  A representative from Road Runner was suggested.

Bob Argo gave the treasurers report.

Various ideas for increasing interest in the PC Users group were discussed, including putting notices in local publications, also adding a notice in the Klein Football programs.

The present web site was discussed including obtaining information from Mike Flanagan for future updating of the site.  Marge Krisman was asked to contact Mike Flanagan.

There being no further business, Bill Franklin moved that the meeting adjourn, motion seconded and the meeting adjourned at 8:40 p.m.

Respectfully submitted,

Gene Jackson  .
