MINUTES of the BOARD MEETING:
The meeting was called to order by our President, Kevin O’Hearne at 6:30PM. The following members were in attendance: Linda Genaw, Betty Hesketh, Ed Hesketh, Chuck Moore, Bill Wright, Mike Flanagan, Donna Dommel, Bob Argo and Mimi Smith.
A motion was made by Linda Genaw to approve the October 22, 2001 Board of Directors Meeting’s minutes, as posted on the 1960 PCUG website. The motion was seconded by Betty Hesketh and passed with an all voice vote.
Treasury Report
Treasurer, Bob Argo reported a lack luster month. The new members and renewals were down and the Advertiser’s Account Receivables have been increased to $750. Monthly expenses have been normal for the month. The current checking bank balance is $7856.63 plus $140 still to be deposited. We have one bounced check for $245 received at the Computer Fair that still has to be rectified. We received the first phone bill for $31 dollars. There is a $6 a month interior wiring insurance that we will continue to pay, since we have no control on the maintenance the building.
SIGs Report
Vice President of SIGs, Alex Dumestre was not present at the meeting. Kevin O’Hearne gave the report on behalf of Alex. The SIGs attendance was up from October. Also, all the December SIGs are cancelled due to the Christmas holidays. The Round Table will be held on Dec. 11th (instead of Dec. 4th) in the SIG room at CCCC. Linda Genaw will be leading the January Graphics SIG, however she will not be leading this SIG in February or March.
The December Board of Directors Meeting will be held on December 17th, due to the holidays.
A motion was made by Mike Flanagan to move the January, 2002 General Meeting from January 3rd to January 10th due to the New Years holiday. The motion was seconded by Donna Dommel and passed with an all voice vote. The Hardware SIG will not be held on the second Thursday in January due to the rescheduling of the General Meeting.
Communication Report
Vice President of Communications, Mike Kelly was not present. Kevin O’Hearne reported business as usual.
Membership Report
Chairperson, Linda Genaw reported the Membership Changes for November, 2001. The Total Members-256; Renewals Due-13; Actual Renewals-5; New Members-1; and $240 was added to the Treasury.

Old Business
Linda Genaw reported that the membership voted unanimously for the 2002 1960 PC Users Group Officers’ slate. 50 ballots were received; 49 received at the November General Meeting and 1 by mail. A motion was made by Mike Flanagan to accept the votes as counted by Linda Genaw, Membership Chairperson, and to install the new officers at the December General Meeting. The motion was seconded by Betty Hesketh and passed with an all voice vote.

New Business
There were changes made in the December, 2001 calendar. The SIGs we cancelled for December, however the Roundtable will be held Dec. 11th at the SIG room. The Board of Directors Meeting will be held on Dec. 17th. Then in the January calendar month the General Meeting will held on Jan,10th and the Hardware SIG will be cancelled. All these changes are due the holiday season.
