Meets 2nd Thursday of each month

The “Internet SIG”s” objective is to expand ours members feel knowledge of what is probably the most significant communications system since Alexander Graham Bell’s invention of the telephone. At the same time we will continue to look at the new uses of Internet as they arise.

In May's Internet SIG we will continue our series of setting up your own personal website. This series is for the beginner who has the desire but does not know where to start.

Subjects we will cover (but not limited too) are the following:

“World Wide Web” (www)
“e-mail” programs (POP & SNMP)
“File Transfer Programs” (FTP)
“Virtual Private Networks” (VPN)
“Voice of the Internet” (VoIP)
“Telecommunicating”
“USENET”

And as always, we are a forum where you can get your questions answered.
